Skip Bin Orders

Ordering a skip bin either through online communication or over the phone constitutes an offer to enter into a contract for the provision of waste bin services with Blu Skips. Upon receiving confirmation of the aforementioned order, customers are bound by a contract to purchase the services requested in said purchase order, this contract is subject to the customer’s rights to cancel or vary the order as set out in the following terms and conditions.

Trading Terms

Customers will only receive services from Blu Skips if they agree to these terms (as may be amended from time to time).

Any change to these terms will only apply if Blu Skips has specifically consented to them in writing.

If there is a dispute between these terms and other terms of trade, these terms will take precedence.


Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by Blu Skips, the price of the goods or services is that stated on the website at the time of acceptance of your purchase order.

The price includes GST (goods and services tax).

All prices are in AUD (Australian dollars).

The cost of delivery and removal of bins is included in all prices.

The prices quoted are based on the information that consumers provide to Blu Skips. Blu Skips reserves the right to vary prices if information provided is incorrect.

Additional Charges

Additional charges will apply for futile callout charges, non-standard and/or prohibited waste types.

Futile callout charge – $150

Overloading Charge – $150

Car tyres – $80

4WD Tyres – $100

Truck Tyres – $150

Fire Extinguishers – $100

Gas Cylinders – $100

Asbestos Contamination – $1500

Damage to Skips (Above and beyond reasonable wear and tear) – On a case by case basis, at the discretion of Blu Skips

Booking Notice

Customers must pay for their order at the time of submission via eftpos, or credit card payment to Blu Skips.

Skip Bin Delivery

Blu Skips will deliver Skip bins on the agreed-upon dates.

However, delivery times can and will differ.

Customers can contact the Blu Skips office by phone or email to receive an estimated delivery time.

Customers are not entitled to cancel any order or part order due to late delivery.   

Blu Skips will rely on the information by the customer in relation to the Site.     

The Customer must ensure that there is unobstructed and safe access for Blu Skips to perform the agreed upon services.     

The Customer is solely responsible for obtaining permission from the relevant person, entity or authority (i.e. Council, Body Corporate/Strata Manager) if the Skip Bin(s) is/are to be placed on a communal or public site or other location which in the circumstances requires the permission of a third party. Any occurrence of damage caused above or below ground, whether it be on a customer’s property or elsewhere, will be at the customer’s’ expense.

Whilst the Blu Skips driver take due care throughout the delivery process, Blu Skips cannot be responsible for the structural integrity of driveways or grounds (due to sub soil conditions, wet weather or any other contributing factors). No Liability is accepted during the delivery and collection of bins.


Blu Skips will provide a full refund of fees paid in respect of any ordered services that were not provided, or any services provided that were not substantially the same as the services requested in the purchase order, provided the customer notifies Blu Skips of the request for refund within 7 working days of the service’s scheduled delivery date.

Usage of the “Blu Skips” Skip Bins

While in possession of Blu Skip bins, customers are under no circumstances permitted to:

(1)light fires in the bins.

(2) place or allow any liquids or any explosive, toxic, dangerous, hazardous, or noxious materials (including but not limited to asbestos, acids, solvents, minerals, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, tyres, greases, silica dust, food waste, wet paint, or liquid concrete) into the bins. If found, we reserve the right to refuse the load and/or pass on the additional costs to the customer in order to dispose of the waste legally.

(3) fill any bin higher than the top of its sides, in such a way that spillage of material from the refuse bin can occur, either while stationary or in transit.

(4) move any bin without Blu Skips consent.

Allowable Weights

During the online booking process, Blu Skips specifies permissible weight limitations for bins.

Once the consumer has selected the trash type and bin size, the allowable weights are displayed.

Any bin that weighs more than the maximum allowed will be charged as a Heavy Waste Bin.

Blu Skips reserves the right to refuse any and all skip bin collections in accordance with all Government transport, Workplace Health and Safety and Chain of Responsibility regulations. In such instances, the customer is responsible for unloading the skip bin to a safe working load and is subject to additional bin hiring charges if the skip bin cannot be loaded on to the Blu Skips truck in the normal timeframe.


Customers shall be held accountable for any damage to Blu Skips property that happens while the customer is in possession of the bin, subject to reasonable wear and tear.

Cancellation of Orders

Customers have the right to cancel or change an order as long as Blu Skips obtains notice of the change or cancellation at least two (2) working days before the delivery date specified in the order.

Any further changes to the order will be made at the sole discretion of Blu Skips and will be subject to payment of reasonable expenses.

In the event an order is cancelled by Blu Skips, the customer will receive a full refund of all monies paid in advance for the cancelled order.

Liability Limitation

The liability of Blu Skips for any claim, damages, loss or expense related to the supply of services is limited to the cost paid by the customer for those services, except where statute expressly requires otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blu Skips will not be liable in any event whether in tort (including negligence), contract or otherwise for any loss of profits or any consequential, indirect or special damage, loss or injury of any kind suffered by the customer or any other person.

Blu Skips will not be liable for any failure or delay in complying with any obligation imposed by these terms if the failure or delay arises directly from an any circumstance beyond Blu Skips control, including, without limitation, fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, war, insurrection, sabotage, industrial disputes, transportation, embargo, changes in law, delays or disruption by government or government agencies.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Blu Skips has the right to change these terms at any point by posting a notice on the website stating the terms have been updated.

The customer agrees to be bound by the modified terms and conditions by continuing to access the website.


If Blu Skips does not enforce any of these terms or grants the customer time or other indulgence at any time, Blu Skips will not be deemed to have waived that term or its rights to enforce that or any other term in the future.


If any part of these conditions is ruled invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to be in full force and effect.

Governing Law

These terms will be governed by Australian law and the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Queensland Courts.
